Recently covered by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is bringing FaceID and TouchID assistance to the iOS version of the app. These features are in their alpha phase now, so don’t expect these in the beta app yet.


And when it gets updated, all you need to do is activate the Touch ID option. Once it gets activated, will successfully lock the messenger behind a secondary security wall.

  • FaceID for the iPhone X and up
  • TouchID for older iPhone

In case any of the feature fails, you'll be allowed to use your passcode.

If not more, at least your texts are safe from someone even if you've handed them your phone to play a game or for any other reason.

Well, Android users have to wait for this feature since it doesn’t support the android versions yet.
