DJ Marshmello- The Only International Celebrity To Observe Two-Minute Silence For Pulwama Martyrs

On 14th February 2019, more than 40 CRPF personnel were martyred when JeM terrorist drove up a vehicle carrying 350 kg of explosives rammed a bus in a convoy at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. That resulted in what one of the nation’s worst attacks in decades.  

Not even Indians paid tribute to Pulwama attack bravehearts but international community’s mourned the attack. One of the examples is American electronic music producer and DJ Marshmello observed a two-minute silence for jawans killed in the terror attack, before he began his performance at the Vh1 Supersonic 2019 in Pune on 17th February.  With the Indian flag projected in the background, DJ Marshmello said: "Two-minutes silence for the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in a terrorist attack."

The DJ had tweeted his condolences for “those affected by the Pulwama attack”, a day after the attack.

 

 

Many people from the audience joined the DJ in paying tribute to CRPF soldiers. One of the fans told, "So many artistes performed at the festival, but it was only Marshmello, who remembered the jawans. I respect him even more now."
