Lilly Singh aka Superwoman, recently came out of the closet as she proudly shares that she is bisexual and stamped it as one of her ‘Superpower'.
This India-origin Canadian artist, who is otherwise a comedian, author and the ambassador of UNICEF Goodwill, tweeted on Sunday that read, “Female, colored, bisexual” along with checkboxes ticked green.”
She further continued and added, “Throughout my life, these have proven to be obstacles from time to time. But now I’m fully embracing them as my superpowers. No matter how many ‘boxes’ you check, I encourage you to do the same.”
The tweet got all over the internet since the time she shared. If we follow the stats, it got over 20k tweets and more than 172,000 likes. The overwhelming response got the Superwoman all emotional as she again tweeted something for the fans and followers. She wrote, “Thank you so much for the love and positivity. Words can’t describe how much it means. I appreciate you all. Group Hug.”
This online influencer has over 14 million followers on Youtube and has been doing quite well with her vlogs, vines, and videos but what she has done recently is truly applaudable. Not just that it requires a lot of guts but such revelation can put a lot of real-life peace at stake. But well, the girl had decided to get over with it once and for all. Lily, has also been an author of “How To Be A Bawse” that later turned out to be a bestseller book. The list doesn’t end here, she has been featured in HBO’s film adaptation of Fahrenheit 451.
