Suicide Squad: Harley Quinn Is Coming Back With Her Team Of Female Superheroes
Did you guys enjoy Suicide Squad? Of course, we all did, didn’t we? Since this ‘all-villains’ movie came out, we all have been waiting for the second part. And our wishes have been granted, well, almost. The movie is a spin-off of the Suicide Squad with Margot Robbie, playing Harley Quinn as the central character. She recently announced on her Instagram account that the movie will be title Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of Harley Quinn). Margot posted a pic of title page of Christina Hodson’s script of the movie.
As the story goes, Harley Quinn will be returning in this movie who is gathering a group of female superheroes and villains to take down a bad guy. Along with Margot, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. Ewan McGregor will portray Black Mask, villain from Batman series.
The film will be directed by Cathy Yan, making her the first female Asian director to helm a superhero movie. On the other hand, Bird of Prey is produced by Robbie along with Sue Kroll and Bryan Unkeless.
The revelation has received a mixed review on Twitter as many complained that the movie’s plot doesn’t seem to do justice to the Birds of Prey comic series.
Twitter is full of tweets from fans who have shared their thoughts of likes and dislikes for the movie.
