Scarlett Johanson Bags $15 Million For 'Black Widow"
We’ll get straight to the point- According to reports, Scarlett Johansson is being paid $15 million for her upcoming standalone Marvel movie.
These reports add that Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, each received pays around the same figures for their individual movies Captain America and Thor and for their roles in Avengers: Infinity War. Both the actors had the same deal for Captain America: Civil War and Thor: Ragnarok and also the fourth Avengers film.
If you look into Marvel’s history, the studio has been quite uptight about salaries of actors during their first outing. But the case was different when Chadwick Boseman was believed to have been paid a seven-figure pay for Black Panther. This fee is certainly expected to go higher for the sequel.
When these figures are considered individually they might seem a big deal but when you take into account how big Marvel has become, things fall into perspective. Marvel’s Infinity War grossed nearly $2 billion worldwide.
Coming back to Scarlett’s fees, sources have confirmed the news with confidence even though Marvel spokesperson officially released a states saying the company has a strict policy of never revealing the fees publicly.
