Netflix's 'YOU' Is Creeping People Out But We Indians Are Used To It. Duh!!
Netflix’s infamous ‘YOU’ has taken the internet by the storm with all the people declaring Joe Goldberg as the creepiest character ever existed, thanks to his stalking skills.
The show has had some spookiest moments which have had fans changing their privacy settings to ‘personal’ because well, everything is out and open on that Instagram or Facebook account of yours.
While the whites are hyping over the intensity and audacity of Penn Badgley’s character of literally haunting Guinevere Beck to her death (at least this is what is portrayed yet), we Indians, especially girls come across such real live characters on almost a daily basis.
They stalk you, judge you by the clothes you wear; whether your skin is visible underneath that skirt, follow you incessantly on all the social sites available and when you refuse to be with them, they torture you or probably even attack you.
Well, this topic in India is never getting the center stage any soon but the series has been declared a hit with girls drooling over Penn’s character which he totally opposes; because of course, he’s a murderer.
Though some people are of the opinion that Joe is behaving like a retard because he is in love, most of them are condemning his character. The internet is divided on its opinion; it is upon you whether to idolize a serial-killer as a romantic idol or not.
