The electric vehicles and their sales in India have been a topic of boring discussion in India. The market is extremely small and siding towards loss than profit. Electric vehicles in India are priced really high due to taxes and the unavailability of proper charging infrastructure also dampens sales rate. On top of that, the time taken to fully charge the car and the dilemma of running out of charge, these factors will count in heavily in a buyer’s mind.

But the times are changing; the Indian government itself is pushing towards electric vehicles and aiming to cut down on taxes levied on these cars so that the prices can be brought down. This will make it easier on the buyer’s pockets. And along with that, charging infrastructure would need to be set-up quickly as more and more buyers get interested in buy e-vehicles.
