Experience History This Republic Day With The First March of 'Assam Rifles Mahila Contingent.'

It’s our 70th Republic Day on 26th January and with every year we are overcoming the barriers that are pushing us back from the rest of the world and this year is different in its own way.

Amidst all the obscurity shines a beam of light this Republic Day because the famous ‘Parade’ at Rajpath, Delhi, would be a display of ‘Naari Shakti’.

For the first time in history, Assam Rifles Mahila Contingent will march in the parade exhibiting their outer strength which would be a symbol of the inner robust of all the women of India who are capable of rising from the ashes.

30 year old, Major Khushboo Kanwar would lead an Assam Rifles Contingent and she boasts with pride the privilege which has been given to her. Daughter of a bus conductor, she says that if she could achieve this honor, any girl could fulfill her dream.
