Breaking Bad Will be Made Into A Movie
This news is to get all the Breaking Bad fans hyped! There are plans to make a two-hour film on the hit TV series, courtesy Vince Gilligan who is the original creator of the series. Breaking Bad had its finale in 2013, leaving the fans in a sense of loss but news reports suggest that Gilligan is already working on a feature film with ties to the series.
But what remains unclear right now is if the movie will open in theatres or television. Following on sources, Gilligan is likely to write the script, executive produce and direct the feature. Production may commence in November.
The Albuquerque Journal wrote a logline calling the film “tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest to freedom”. The Journal also said the title of the film to be ‘Greenbriar’ but it is just a speculation and yet to be confirmed with the production house.
Brian Cranston, the lead actor of the show, shared in an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show that the series will be made into a film and Gilligan had approached him for it. The actor is very much interested in being a part of the film but said he’s quite unsure whether his iconic character Walter White would be included in it.
