Avengers: Endgame is barely three weeks away and the anticipation for the movie is already reaching the 7th sky. With Endgame, it would mark the end of Marvel Avengers’ phase 3. And while the word around phase 4 is still just fan-theories and speculations, Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo has taken a close affinity of Priyanka Chopra. Sounds a little off the topic, isn’t it?

Well, Joe Russo has said that he finds Priyanka “fantastic” and would love to work with her. “Priyanka is transitioning into global status now. She is fantastic… (I would) Love to work with her… I am potentially talking to Priyanka for something.  I am not going to say what it is,” Russo said in a group interview in Mumbai.

Now drawing your focus on how Priyanka Chopra came in the picture… Last year, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige conveyed their plans to make a standalone movie on superhero Ms Marvel aka Kamala Khan. When the news spread, a number of fans took to social media to express their desire to see Priyanka Chopra don the suit of Marvel’s first Muslim superhero.

Russa is in India for the promotion of MCU’s much-awaited superhero ensemble, “Endgame”, out in theatres on April 26. He also said how he was inspired by Rajnikanth’s 2010 blockbuster “Robot”. He said, “Robot almost influenced the cinematic moments in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’… In one of the final scenes, all the Ultrons were supposed to form a large Ultron and Avengers were set to fight that but the sequence got cut for time. It was this close. I was inspired directly by ‘Robot’.”

Avengers: Endgame will culminate the end of the current Marvel Cinematic Universe generation. The movie features Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, Tessa Thompson and Josh Brolin
