Avengers Endgame: Chris Hemsworth Shares Emotional Message As Movie Breaks Indian Box-office Records

While Marvel fans around the world are having a tough time emotionally dealing with the Avengers: Endgame and the end of an era, our superheroes are feeling equally emotionally. Actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, felt emotional over the love and praise that Endgame has received and thus, penned a heartfelt message for everyone on his Instagram.

Along with some pictures with his co-stars, Chris wrote, “I remember many years ago carving my name into wet concrete on the sidewalk outside my grandma’s place, little did I know that years on those skills would come in handy! Honoured to share this moment with my Avenging mates on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

While in the other two pictures, Chris was seen interacting with people. After a long wait, Avengers: Endgame released on April 26 and has already emerged as the highest opening Hollywood movie in India by reaching Rs 100 crore in just two days.

Trade analyst Amod Mehra expressed his views, “Everyone expected a huge opening, but these are insane numbers. Despite releasing on a non-holiday weekend, positive word of mouth and repeat viewing have ensured that the numbers soar. The advance booking for the next few days is around 75-80 per cent, so the collection will hardly take a dip. The film might even cross Rs 200 crore in four days.”

The point to be understood here is that Endgame has only 2,8,45 screens in India in comparison to big Bollywood movies which get over 4,000 screens. Another trade analyst, Girish Wankhede said that the amazing run of the movie will continue through the week as there are no big releases to clash with the movie. “There are no big releases for the next two weeks. So, it has a clear run until Student Of The Year 2 releases.”
