Best Twitter Moments Of 2018- Sunil Chhetri's Tweet
Earlier this year in the month of June our football team captain Sunil Chhetri had posted a video on his Twitter account.
Not only did he thank all the Indians who had come to watch the Indian team play, but also appealed a million others who didn’t watch India playing against Kenya at the Intercontinental Cup 2018.
This tweet not only went viral like crazy, but was also retweeted for around 60,000 times.
This tweet in actual terms moved the youth to watch Indian team play cricket. Atleast on the social media the affect was inevitably visible.
In a statement Twitter wrote, “In 2018, people on Twitter connected, campaigned, learned, debated, and had conversations. They came to share opinions and see other points of view. From #MeToo to #Sarkar, #IPL, state elections, and everyday interests, Indians flocked to Twitter to find out what’s happening in the world and to talk about it”.
Other than Sunil Chhetri’s tweet, #MeToo movement gained mass media attention. Virat Kohli’s picture on Karwachauth with Anushka Sharma received over 2,00,000 likes and counting. All these were some of the biggest moments on Twitter this year.
